This sleepy village has one of the friendliest pubs  around. All you need to do is announce yourself at the bar, ask for Tim Haworth, the landlord and avail yourself of the free drink offer. It's best not to order a pint of Vodka or a quart of Mouton Rothschild but any reasonable request will be honoured! It's also a good idea to come and see Tim's other champagne/wine racks whilst perusing the other antiques. Tim is a fine landlord, his food is very good and his beer always tasty.

 Goodwood Antiques has been doing the rounds, visiting the Shows with our mobile antiques stall. We recently attended the Henley Show after a 2 year break, and sales were brisk, particularly of our champagne racks. We will continue to attend some shows, but really the internet is such a fantastic medium, that we don't need to leave home as often as we used to. |
